The Opportunity The position holder for the position of Coordinator – Procurement is mainly responsible for ensuring value for money while performing the procurement processes. S/he leads the procurement team to complete the sourcing within the stipulated time. The incumbent is expected to generate evidence and learning for better sourcing and have an ongoing focus on gradual improvement in the procurement function. Under the direct supervision of Manager – P&SC, s/he does the regular tracking of the framework agreement and initiates the process for renewing/ new FWA in close consultation with Program Managers. The position holder is responsible for the negotiations with the vendors and keeps a close focus on the delivery process maintaining all types of compliances. S/he supports Coordinator – WH and the field supply chain team closely. The incumbent tracks the inventory system and generates the tracker and the report. 2. Manager – Education

The Opportunity
The Manager- Education is responsible for overall management of three EiE grants in collaboration with local implementing partner. S/he is expected to deliver high quality education activities both in host and Rohingya communities. The Manager needs to oversee Education and ECW funded Multi Year Resilience Program (MYRP) project activities with a focus on program implementation, including timely activity execution according to the plan and routine monitoring against agreed indicators, ensuring procurement of services is on time and in line with technical specifications, , monthly forecasting and spending accordingly to achieve high quality progress and prepare project documents, technical support rendering in delivery of training & capacity building activities, as well as remedial learning packages, Interactive Radio Instructions (IRI), and E-learning courses development, ensuring high quality progress and final reports preparation for external and internal use. At the same time, the Manager works closely with the consortium partners to deliver high quality education interventions for children and their families in Cox’s Bazar refugee camps and host community. The role-player plays a critical role in providing day-to-day oversights of the project(s), coordinating between SCI and consortium partners, and mapping best practices, tools used, lessons learnt and effectively sharing with partners and EiE team. S/he actively monitors all project activities with the selected education sector implementation partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget, and that delays or issues with implementation are flagged immediately, and corrective actions are taken.
Qualifications and experience
- 5 years’ experience in the field of education program management with substantial experience in partner-led project implementation including 3 years in management position
- Advanced knowledge on partnership management, education & pedagogy, non-formal education program, material development, and child education policy
- Clear understanding on the Rohingya response situation of the country, education in emergency, technology-based education, formal and non-formal education theories, and practices
- Familiarity with diverse education-relevant stakeholder groups, including government education priorities and processes, institutions, and networks
- Proven expertise in planning and leading inclusive training and capacity building activities, particularly for the partner organizations
- Sound knowledge of early childhood care and development, primary education, basic education, and inclusive education
- Ability to articulate concepts and ideas related to the education field, make presentations and deliver top-notch quality written reports
- Excellent communications, training, and capacity building session facilitation skills
- Master’s degree, preferably in Education/Social Science/Development Studies or other relevant faculties

3. Senior Manager – Program Operations

The role
This position has overall responsibility for the leadership, coordination and oversight of the program implementation in close coordination with the Area Office Director, Senior Program Managers/ Functional Leads, Sector Directors (Education, Health and Child Protection, in regard to DFAT-3) for maintaining and managing information among programs. S/he will be the Point of Contact for DFAT-3 grants and will be working closely for external communication related to DFAT Project, will ensure participation from relevant technical person in the Gender, Inclusion and localization technical area under DFAT-3 and will contribute on behalf of the organization. The incumbent will also ensure that programs are being developed/implemented in integrated way and harmonization is maintained among all sectors/programs and will ensure all narrative and financial reports – internal and external – and deliverables are developed and submitted on time. S/he will support Area Office Director by providing programmatic and cross-thematic progress and actions/decisions from all sectors with close collaboration with respective team lead and/or Sector Director.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 7 years of working experience in development sector with substantial program management experience, including 3 years in management position.
- Good understanding on Monitoring and Evaluation, Program Management, Documentation, Development agenda in Bangladesh context.
- Excellent English writing and speaking skill is mandatory
- Excellent coordination, interpersonal communication and facilitation skills
- Structured, innovative thinking, and organization skills is desirable
- Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Science or relevant discipline
