Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring proper maintenance & operation of stores in multi-unit Denim Garments Factories and Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all over Material control activities regarding Central Warehouse, Accessories store, Fabrics, Spare parts and Leftover/wastage store.
  • Initiating, coordinating and enforcing optimal operational policies and procedures regarding Materials Management.
  • Receiving store materials (Fabric, Accessories, etc.) from local, foreign suppliers and any other sources as per LC / purchase approval document.
  • Distributing store materials (Fabric, Accessories, etc.) to production floor as per requisition.
  • Ensuring all receive and distribution of Store materials are properly documented and released.
  • Maintaining proper record, receive stores, tags and track of surplus property.
  • Maintaining Liaison with Merchandising, Commercial, Production and other related department as required.
  • Supervising all stores operational issues and uphold the safety of the store house.
  • Monitoring & controlling of a large scale Denim factories & movement of material flow from raw to finish product & dispatch to the end customer.
  • Checking physical inventory from time to time to cross-match with the monthly inventory report.
  • Working with software (SAP) for better control, planning & stocktaking system based.
  • Ensuring to make order reconciliation and submit this report to the management.
  • Ensuring all receive and delivery of materials are properly recorded and documented properly.
  • Preparing Report -Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly, and Yearly according to inventory flow movement and submit to Proper authority.
  • Leading, guiding and follow-up all other store persons for smooth functioning of store dept.
  • Handling all HR situations, conflict management and zero tolerance activities (Thefts, pilferage, physical abuse, financial abuse etc.) of departmental employees.
  • Any others job assigned by the Management

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor in any subject from any recognized university.
  • Diploma/ Certificate in supply chain management will get preference.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 6 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 40 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • Must have garments store management experience.
  • Must have good computer skills and able to operate inventory software.
  • Should have good communication skill in both English & Bengali.
  • Hardworking, proactive, self-responsible, ability to work under pressure.
