Job Context
- This role is accountable for executing daily operative goals pertaining to import of raw materials, consumables & trading item.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operative goals within Commercial department.
- Receive pro-forma invoice for import and verify proper documentation and approvals as defined in the SOP.
- Generate LC based on pro-forma invoice.
- Track LC for amendment requested by supplier to ensure timely delivery and avoidance of additional charges.
- Ensure assessment of consignments under correct H.S Code.
- Make final assessment documents available post verification to audit and accounts.
- Submission of bill of entry to bank on time.
- Maintain MIS/ERP and update & maintain receipts/invoices etc. to track movement of various material.
- Work closely with user departments to monitor requirements, issues related to import, shipment delays etc.
- Receive inspection certificate and Materials Received Report (MRR) to confirm goods delivery at unit ensuring quality & quantity as specified in requisition.
- Scrutinize documents pertaining to import and ensure amendments in case of discrepancies.
- Ensure timely clearance and consignments from port.
- Assist in handling disputes with customs and other authority bodies.
- On time preparation of need based analysis report/assignment.

Educational Requirements
- Masters in any discipline from a reputed University.
- Skills Required: Commercial related experience, Customs Auditing and related issues with customs Bond., Import Documentation, Import through LC and TT.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Export/ Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/ C&F - The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Cement Industry, Group of Companies, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.), Manufacturing (FMCG)
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
- Both males and females are allowed to apply
- Good command in English.
- Practical experience in commercial based software .
- Sound knowledge in using MS Office .
- Good command in presentation skills .
