Job Responsibilities
- Create an optimum replenishment plan for raw & packaging materials against the production plan & rolling sales forecast.
- Define material requirements and issue purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times, MOQ, and min-max stock.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team (business, production, commercial, QC, C&F, and others) to ensure both local and imported RM-PM availability as per production plan to ensure timely delivery of FG.
- Manage directly with the defined supplier the delivery schedule of materials including creating, sending, confirming, and receiving including claim management.
- Identify & communicate issues concerning plant shutdown, and material shortage within the planning period.
- Reduce and prevent obsolescence of raw & packaging materials by proactive monitoring of inventory level
- Support in supplier development & selection process.
- Establish continuous improvement culture, review product & process failure, and execute continuous improvement activities.

Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE)/ Science Background.
- MBA in Supply Chain Management/ Operations Management will be added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 7 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- At least 7 years of working experience in relevant fields (Chemicals/Industrial Unit)
- Excellent knowledge of material management, inventory management, and asset planning.
- Proficient with ROFO, MRP, BoM, MPS, capacity planning, inventory management ERP, etc.
- Skilful in data compilation, analysis, interpretation, report formation, early warning management, and presentations.
- Experience in vendor development and management.
